Article Generation
Editing Articles
Using the editor to refine your content
The Built-in Editor
Dipflow includes a rich text editor for refining your generated content. You can edit at any point - right after generation or later when you return to an article.
The editor provides a clean, distraction-free writing environment. What you see is close to what readers will see on your published page.
Formatting Options
The editor supports standard formatting:
Text formatting
- Bold, italic, and underline
- Headings (H2, H3, H4)
- Bullet and numbered lists
- Block quotes
Links
- Add links to text selections
- Edit or remove existing links
- Open in new tab option
Structure
- Add section breaks
- Insert images
- Create tables (where supported)
Use keyboard shortcuts for faster editing: Ctrl/Cmd+B for bold, Ctrl/Cmd+I for italic, Ctrl/Cmd+K for links.
Editing Best Practices
To get the most from your editing time:
Read through first
Before making changes, read the entire article. This helps you understand the flow and identify what actually needs editing.
Fix major issues first
Address structural problems, missing information, or factual errors before polishing language.
Maintain consistency
Keep your edits consistent with the rest of the content. If you change the tone in one section, make sure it flows with adjacent sections.
Don't over-edit
AI-generated content is often ready for publishing with minimal changes. Focus on issues that genuinely improve the article.
If you find yourself rewriting large sections, consider adjusting your brand voice settings. The AI might need different instructions to produce content closer to your preferences.
Saving and Exporting
Your work is saved automatically as you edit. You can also:
Manual save
Click Save to ensure your latest changes are stored. A confirmation appears when saved successfully.
Copy content
Copy the article content to paste into another system. The formatting is preserved when possible.
Export options
Download your article in different formats for use in other platforms or for backup purposes.
Publish
When ready, publish directly to connected platforms or mark as complete for manual publishing elsewhere.
