Creating Projects
Set up workspaces for your brands and websites
What is a Project?
Projects are containers for organizing your articles. Each project typically represents a website, brand, or content initiative. All articles within a project share common settings like the default brand voice.
Creating a New Project
From your dashboard, navigate to Projects in the main menu. You'll see a list of your existing projects (if any).
Click the New Project button in the top right corner. A form will appear for entering project details.
Fill in the basic information:
- Project Name - A clear name like "Company Blog" or "Product Reviews Site"
- Description (optional) - Brief notes about the project's purpose
- Website URL (optional) - The URL where content will be published
Choose a brand voice that will be automatically applied to new articles in this project. You can always override this for individual articles.
Click Create Project. Your new project is ready to use.
Start with one project per website. This keeps your content organized and makes it easy to apply consistent settings.
Project Settings
Each project has settings you can configure:
- Default Brand Voice - New articles automatically use this voice. Saves time when creating multiple articles.
- Project Name - Update the name anytime to reflect changes in your content strategy.
- Description - Add notes for yourself or team members about the project's purpose and guidelines.
Organizing Your Projects
Here are some approaches for organizing projects effectively:
By Website
Create one project for each website you manage. This is the most common approach and works well for most users.
By Client
If you create content for clients, give each client their own project. This keeps content separate and makes it easy to track work per client.
By Content Type
For larger operations, you might have separate projects for blog posts, product descriptions, landing pages, etc.
There's no limit to the number of projects you can create. Structure them in whatever way makes sense for your workflow.
