Article Generation
Research & Outline
Building the foundation of your content
The Research Phase
After selecting a title, the AI conducts additional research on your topic. This goes beyond the initial SERP analysis to gather specific information that will inform the article content.
The research phase:
- Searches for relevant information across multiple sources
- Extracts key facts, statistics, and insights
- Identifies important subtopics to cover
- Builds a knowledge base for accurate content generation
This research happens automatically. You'll see a brief summary of what was found before moving to the outline.
The research ensures your content is informed by current information, not just the AI's training data.
The Outline Phase
Using the research, the AI creates a structured outline for your article. The outline includes:
- Main sections - Major topics the article will cover
- Subsections - Supporting points within each section
- Logical flow - Topics arranged in a sensible order
The outline is your chance to shape the article before writing begins. Review it carefully - changes here are much easier than editing a full article.
Reviewing Topics
When reviewing the outline, look for:
Completeness
Does the outline cover everything important about your topic? Are there key subtopics missing?
Relevance
Is everything in the outline directly relevant? Remove sections that drift off-topic.
Structure
Does the flow make sense? Information should build logically from one section to the next.
Length
The number of sections affects article length. Fewer sections mean a shorter, more focused article.
Modifying the Outline
You can modify the outline before proceeding:
Reorder sections
Drag sections to rearrange them. Put the most important information early in the article.
Add sections
If something's missing, add a new section. Just name the topic - the AI will write the content.
Remove sections
Delete sections that aren't relevant or that would make the article too long.
Edit section titles
Rename sections to better reflect what you want covered. Clearer section titles lead to more focused content.
Spend time on the outline. A well-structured outline produces a well-structured article with less editing needed later.
