Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade, downgrade, and billing

Viewing Your Subscription

Access your subscription details from the main menu by clicking Subscription. You'll see:

  • Your current plan and its features
  • Credit balance and usage
  • Next billing date and amount
  • Payment method on file

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrading gives you more monthly credits. When you upgrade:

  1. Go to Subscription → Plan
  2. Select the plan you want
  3. Confirm the upgrade
  4. New credits are added immediately

You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period. Your new plan takes effect immediately.

When you upgrade, you immediately receive the credit difference between your old and new plans. No waiting until next month.

Downgrading Your Plan

If you need fewer credits, you can downgrade to a smaller plan:

  1. Go to Subscription → Plan
  2. Select the lower-tier plan
  3. Confirm the downgrade

Downgrades take effect at your next billing date. You keep your current plan and credits until then.

Unused credits

Subscription credits don't carry over when downgrading. Use them before your billing date or they'll reset to your new plan's allocation.

Billing and Payments

Manage your billing through the billing portal:

Update payment method

Add or change your credit card. Your new card will be used for future charges.

View invoices

Access all past invoices and download them for your records or expense reports.

Update billing info

Change your billing address or add a company name for invoices.

Click Manage Billing in the Subscription section to access these options through our secure payment portal.

Canceling

If you need to cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to Subscription → Manage Billing
  2. Select Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

When you cancel:

  • You keep access until the end of your billing period
  • Your subscription credits remain available until then
  • Bonus credits stay in your account
  • Your articles and projects are preserved

After your subscription ends, you'll be on the Free plan. You can continue accessing your content and use any remaining bonus credits.

Consider downgrading instead of canceling. The Free plan lets you keep using the platform at a reduced capacity without losing access.
