Campaigns
What are Campaigns
Automate bulk article generation and publishing
Overview
Campaigns let you generate and publish multiple articles automatically. Instead of creating articles one by one, you provide a list of keywords, configure your settings once, and let Dipflow handle the rest.
Each keyword becomes a fully generated article, published to your WordPress site on a schedule you define. This is ideal for building out content at scale without manual intervention.
How Campaigns Work
A campaign consists of three main elements:
- Keywords - A list of primary keywords, each becoming one article
- Article Settings - Goal, tone, type, brand voice, and instructions applied to all articles
- Publishing Schedule - How often to generate and publish (e.g., every 6 hours, daily, weekly)
Once you start a campaign, Dipflow automatically:
- Picks the next pending keyword
- Runs the full article generation pipeline (SERP research, titles, content, images)
- Publishes the completed article to your connected WordPress site
- Waits for the next scheduled interval
- Repeats until all keywords are processed
Campaign articles use the same generation pipeline as manual articles. The difference is that campaigns auto-select sources and titles instead of waiting for your input at each step.
Campaign Lifecycle
Campaigns move through these stages:
Draft
Initial setup phase. Add keywords, select your integration, choose a brand voice, and configure article settings. You can edit everything freely before starting.
Active
The campaign is running. Articles are generated and published according to your schedule. You can still add more keywords, but cannot change core settings.
Paused
Temporarily stopped. No new articles are generated. This can happen manually (you click pause) or automatically (insufficient credits, repeated failures). Resume when ready.
Completed
All keywords have been processed. The campaign is finished. You can view the generated articles but the campaign itself is read-only.
When to Use Campaigns
Campaigns work best when you:
- Have a list of related keywords to target
- Want consistent settings across multiple articles
- Need hands-off content generation
- Are building out a content hub or topic cluster
- Want to maintain a regular publishing schedule
Start with a small batch of 5-10 keywords to test your settings. Review the generated articles, adjust your brand voice or instructions if needed, then scale up.
Campaigns vs Manual Articles
Both approaches produce the same quality content. The difference is control vs convenience:
Manual Articles
- You review and approve each step
- Choose your own sources and titles
- Edit topics before content generation
- Best for important, high-stakes content
Campaigns
- Fully automated after setup
- AI selects sources and titles automatically
- Proceeds through all steps without waiting
- Best for scaling content production
You can always edit campaign-generated articles after they're created, just like any other article in your project.
